Defined Contribution Savers to Overtake Defined Benefit Savers

Pension Statistics: The number of defined benefit (DB) savers fell by 56% between 2004 and 2014, while the number of defined contribution (DC) savers rose from 1.2 million to 3.2 million, according to Saga Investment Services. The number of DC savers is expected to surpass the number of DB savers by 2018.
